8 Best Child Artists Of Yesteryear And Their Whereabouts Of Now.

Child artists from yesteryear either blossom into big stars who achieve great heights in the future like Miley Cyrus or either completely fall off the radar as they grow up and finally leave behind the shows or movies they started with despite being immensely talented, like Victoria justice. Let’s look at some of our favorite child artists from yesteryear and where they are today.

1. Hansika Motwani

She debuted with the serial Shakalaka Boom Boom, the show not only made up all swoon for the magic pencil but the dimpled girl as well, and she went to be casted alongside Hritik Roshan and Preity Zinta in the hit Koi Mil Gaya. That was pretty much it, for her stint in Bollywood was over but she found fame and luck in Tollywood and at age 26 she has achieved a lot by being casted in some of the biggest hit of the south like Mapillia, Engeyum, Oru Kal Oru Kannadi and many more.

2. Macaulay Culkin

We all remember watching the home alone franchise during winter time and being utterly smitten by the charms and wits of Macaulay AKA Kevin. Macaulay has had an eventful life so far with some pretty nasty bits in between; he fell into substance abuse in 2004 and was even arrested during this time. Fans were pretty concerned for him when he returned on screen on will and grace, his thin frame and overall dullness was alarming but he has cleaned up pretty well now, he looks healthier than ever, he will be seen on the big screen in the upcoming film Change Land as Ian.

3. Sana Saeed

Little Anjali from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai left us gaping in awe of her adorableness but as an adult she hasn't been able to make a mark yet, the biggest stint she did was her role in Student Of The Year that released in 2012 as Tanya, she has done numerous reality shows but we hope to see her doing something big because she is one beautiful and talented woman.

4. Tanvi Hegde

Frooty from Son Pari was charming on the show, her acting and expressions were great, but she wasn't able to flourish into a Bollywood actress, she doesn't have anything lined up yet and we haven't seen or heard her in something prominent but we hope she's doing great at whatever she has her fingers in.

5. Jhanak Shukla

Jhanak was a pretty big child artist in the early 2000s appearing in hit shows and movies like Karishma Ka Karishma and Kal Ho Na Ho; she also appeared in numerous advertisements, Maggi being one of them. However she didn't pursue acting as a career any further, she stopped accepting assignments after reaching 6th grades because she didn't have her heart in it and was fed up of acting; she did her bachelor's in arts in 2014.

6. Ayesha Kapur

Who can forget the child star of the hit movie black, she impeccably portrayed the role of a visually and aurally impaired girl on screen, and her acting blew everyone's mind. Well she's all grown up now and is studying in the Columbia University. She put acting on hold to concentrate on her education but is open to accepting acting roles now.

7. Ahsaas Channa

Ahsaas has been part of many kids’ movies, her most prominent role being that of Ashu in My Friend Ganesha series. The 18 year old beauty is now all over YouTube, and part of some very entertaining we series

8. Darsheel Safary

The Taare Zameen Par star has been omnipresent ever since his debut with the lead role of Ishaan. He was away from the limelight for some time but said that it wasn't a conscious decision in an interview. His latest stint was a teen comedy called "Quickie".
